i have added picture .

type any frequency in transponder option in dishtv.

i dont know which one i have entered it but the frecurency will be any of dishtv transponder. it may be 11038,

but when u put different frecurency like 12729 you will find TPS packages.

i already has explained that only dishtv stb is required and 1 disecq
2- dish ( dishtv-nss6, and hotbird-tps or sky )

u can also watch arabsat channels like mbc2,1, 3 , 4 . zee arabiya and much more. just put mbc frequency in transponder and u can find it on ur stb.

if u want watch dishtv channrls back then u have to change disecq setting in stb think that u had connected dishtv in port 1 then u have to change back to port 1 to continue watch dishtv channels.

this dishtv stb works in every universal LNB type.

[/color]change port1(dishtv) to port2 (hotbird) put any frecuency of sky network in stb then it shows the signal of the tp . if the signal is in green line then save it exit from tthe setting .

ur stb wait for 8-10 secounds. and shows no signal. when it shows no signal then enter menu and search for channels. first it check the home transponder, if signal of home transponder has a perfect signal then it automatically search for all tps in hotbird network. you dont have to enter any more frecuencies.



what is difference between receivers and decorders.

receivers means you have enter every frecuiences in receivers to search particular channels.

decorders means just only one tp is enough to serach all tp's of that network.

so dishtv STB is decorder not receiver.[color=navy]

I am happy if you can tarck this with single dish and STB.

I make some trick with mt stb Today and put DD's new Place and I found 2 TP with 20 channels from DD DIRECT+ services.

I will try more and please try to find single dish trick

its sky italia and TPS fro mhotbirb 13.0 degree

if u want skyuk than set ur dish at 28.8 degree and enter any frequency in it then it works.

now i had finished my setting arabsat where i can watch mbc channels zee arabiya and some pehla package.

now i had ordered a smart card from uae and then i will enter in my stb if it work then i will try to order sky smartcard

i said when u enter dd direct tp it will find only dd direct channels not dishtv

its decorder only receiver


u wont get 2 diffrent signal in one satellite but its possible.

u have cover ur dish with one more dish in front of it its tough job but in uae my freind use to do it

Well thanks for information.

I would like to rotate my dish and try to add some different package's TP.

I get 30% signals from Sky UK so can't scan channels. I would like to rotate it will try to find some channels.

we need clarifications from you please explain in details !  Treat us as laymen always!

1. According to my knowledge it is not possible to edit DishTv preset Tp's
2. Are you using the old dish Tv software? What is the STB model?
2. The only thing we can change rite now is the LNB setup! Am I rite?
    namely Hi / Low frequency settings !
    disecq setting : Tone A / Tone B/ disecq 1 disecq 2 disecq 3 or disecq 4

as per your instructions , could you tell how to add new TP’s or frequency’s to the existing  STB or does this option appears after you add the second antenna ?

Please explain ! it would helpful to all of us!

Well we can't Edit Dish's TP but we can only edit Home TP. If you enter 12688 h 27500 3/4 than you will get only DD DIRECT+ channal. Hope you understood.
