Dish TV Signal problem

Hi everyone,

1) I am using Dish TV in UAE. I am using for past 1 year and it was fine but now from last 6-7 days signal are not coming properly on certain time esp afternoon and morning. even when it comes half of the channel still not available sony , set max, etc.. I contacted the person who supply dish tv here says Dish TV has changed its satellite and eveyone is facing the same problem regarding signal. my signal strength is 30-35%. He said I have to shift to 130cm dish now i am using 110cm. Can anyone help me with this what could be the reason and how this can be solved.

2) When I bought Dish Tv it was for 1 year, my subscription is about to expire. The person is UAE is asking around 500 per month for maxi. i was thinkin of paying myself online but the receiver and card is on someone else name in India. If I pay myself can that person cancel the Dish TV even though the receiver and card is with me?

Well you hav eto shift with bigger dish because Dish Tv now reduced their signals from GCC because of illegal way to watch channels.

Now you can pay money by ITZ card. You just need someone in India who can buy this card and renew your account from Dish Tv hotline. You need VC number and Name only.

Thats fine I can pay ask my friend in India to Pay by ITZ Card. but can the person on whos name the receiver and account his can cancel the account. because I am not renewing the subscription from him. Thanks

Well if he has no problems with your own subscription renewal than no but if he is a delear and he want it than he can do it. So give me information about that person.

Hi,

You can pay your subscription by credit card. I paid mine last month & there has been no problems.
About the signals, yes I do have a problem between 1700-2300 hrs where the signal is very weak for a few channels like HBO, Cartoon Network, TCM etc. I use a 110 cm dish. Try putting in splitters. I now have 3 splitters between the dish & my receiver. Dont ask me the logic or technical side of it (beats me), but each splitter I add, the less problem I have with the signal & can watch the channels better.
Ps, I live in Dubai & I have the zenega receiver which eats up the signals

plz all my dear uae viewers upgrade to bigger antenna and njoy seamless entertainment plz plz plz dont do enything else and waste money only solutiuon is a big antenna

Well your account is not paid from April 2007. So they closed your account. Do you pay money after April 2007.
