Tata Sky to unveil its first commercial with Aamir on 25 August

MUMBAI: DTH service provider Tata Sky is set to "break" its first television commercial featuring brand ambassador Aamir Khan across all major television channels on 25 August at 7 pm.

Conceptualised and created by advertising agency Rediffusion DY&R, the TVC aims to highlight the heritage of the Tata Sky brand. The production house involved in the making of this commercial is Aamir Khan Productions. Ramanuj Shastry is the creative director of the film.

The film showcases Khan in comic attire, enacting dual role of a bride and a groom on their wedding night. The TVC demands the actor to enact a squabble between the bride, who aspires to get the best global DTH technology, and the groom, who prefers integrity and trust over anything else. The couple, however, realises the futility of their argument because with the marriage of Tata and Sky to form Tata Sky, they both get what they eventually want-- trust and top-of-the-line technology, translating the fight into a win-win situation.

Tata Sky chief marketing officer Vikram Mehra says, "Tata Sky is an amalgamation of the Tata Group and the Sky brand, which is owned by the UK based British Sky Broadcasting Group. However, a lot of consumers believe that the word 'sky' in our brand name implies to the satellite service that comes from the sky. Hence, this campaign's main objective is to educate people about the origins of our brand. Also, we wanted someone who is not only trusted by the consumers but has also earned the respect to educate them. Therefore, we chose Aamir Khan since he is a perfect fit for the Tata Sky brand. This is because he embodies the brand proposition of Tata Sky completely - trust and integrity. Additionally, just like Khan, we too incessantly strive for perfection whether in the field of technology and innovation, or in leadership and performance."

Tata Sky has adopted a 360 degree marketing campaign approach that encapsulates television, print, outdoor and radio along with on-ground activities and marketing on the digital platform.

I think they meant, by 7 PM it ll be telecast on all the Major channels.

yes.. i understood it. I saw it on Zee news channel in morning not sure about other channels.. and Zee news channel is also showing Bigtv Advertisement too much in every break.

Ok did u see the advertisement now and did u find any change in Advertisement or is it the same? maybe it will be same .
