yea, useless thread, airtel does have problems with its softwares. its just that the problems arent as widespread as big tv ones. but yeah, its software and stb are better than big tv's.

also, adtv doesnt hav the component option. by this time, everyone has heard this thing from me!

i sincerely hope they do! if they are reading and do introduce a component option, i promise i'll shift to ADTV the moment my finances allow me! thats a promise!

well they could introduce a new stb. but if they dont replace existing ones, they'll screw up the entire updating thing, much like big tv.

i hope they inroduce new stbs and replace older ones. they could charge a nominal amount say Rs. 100 or so for changing but not more than that.

well unless u have used a component cable, u wont know the fun of it!

if any of ur neighbours or friends has big tv, just go over and check the pic quality, u'll know what i'm talking about (dont do too much experiment with it, or the stb will hand! ). adtv has everything except this feature. if they introduce it, i bet they'll overtake big tv in all departments in no time at all. as u know, most hi def tv owners these days are very particular about dth and they generally go for the ones with better connectivity, in this case component.
