Why Zee Cafe, Vh1 and Fox History not vailable as add ons or in some base pack?

Well Sun direct already have have very high ala-carte cost. their add - on packages are the most costly among all dth, and if these channels were available in add-on then i think they charge further some more cost what other are charging.

Available in JUMBO PACK

aleady available in base pack... am i right?

Why can't SunDirect add VH1 Channel in Music Pack.So if we need to watch that channel,we need to subscribe for jumbo pack and pay Rs.300.There is no sense in this.

VH1 must be provided as ala carta or as part of music pack! I can't understand the logic of SUN DTH!!

What we as subscribers see as logic , Sun Direct sees it as Money ......... But what Sun Direct does not understand is that people will not pay rs 300 just for watching one or two channels and since TRAI has mentioned that each and every DTH Company are free to choose the packages and what channels they put in those packs Sun Direct is taking advantage by placing some very good channels like fox history , VH1 , Zee Cafe in Jumbo pack and i've addressed this in a thread i started "Sun Direct should give subscribers the option of choosing their own packages"............

So My view is that if people who have Sun Direct DTH Connection are really interested in seeing channels like fox history , VH1 and Zee Cafe then they have no other choice than to subscribe for Jumbo pack which at rs 300 is way too expensive and I can see that the majority of the 5.3 Million subscribers are basically looking to watch English movies Or News or Sports like T20 World cup which they can subscribe for rs 32 per month and then deactivate it or they just pay for content viewable on the basic pack......

These issues are something Sun Direct would be least bothered about as they are getting bulk of their revenues through the available add ons and base packs .

PS : This post is not intended to degrade Sun Direct and neither is my view biased and is the actual fact.

If they provide Fox History or Vh1 or any other good channel in alarcate, then so many people will subscribe it and the revenue will increased actually. Poor Management!!!
They should first re arrange the addons By putting same kind of channels in one pack.

thats really bad move i want vh1 channel its my favourite channel but i cant watch it beacuse they have added in 300rs jumbo pack which i cant afford : (

I completely agree with you. Hope they would realize that there is business sence "in getting 40 bucks from 100 fellows than 300 from one"
