"My Name Is Khan" Shahrukh another Blockbuster

It’s always a surprise when it comes to a press conference with Shah Rukh Khan. While promoting his upcoming film, “My Name Is Khan”, SRK declared that the film’s leading character, Rizwaan Khan is his new avatar. The reporters, in fact, are aware and quite habituated to watch Shah Rukh’s wittiness presented with a boyish charm! SRK now faces the most challenging role of his life as he plays the character of an Indian Muslim man who embarks on the most memorable journey across the United States.
The film again combines the efforts and talents of the Bollywood Badshah and Karan Johar. SRK explained that the movie does not talk about terrorism or the 9/11 terror attacks. Rather, it describes the relationship between a man and the country. The film centers on a love story and Islam. However, a mild form of autism influences the story in My Name Is Khan. Shah Rukh was asked whether he was trying to express something with the film’s title. But he clarified that he was not using the title as a vehicle for self-promotion. Rather it was something suggested by Johar and screenplay writer Shibani Bhatija.
Shah Rukh also expressed his excitement over working in the global studio Fox. He said that this marked a new beginning for the Indian cinema which could enter the global market without suffering a compromise in its terms, conditions and essence! The actor expressed his thankfulness for Karan Johar who had chosen him to be a part of such a great movie as an actor and producer and to Fox Star Studios as well for its support to take the film before the international audience.
Vijay Singh, the CEO of Fox Star, informed that the film would be released in multiple languages. But they are still not ready with the details of the number of prints and marketing activity plans. This film would again let the audience see and feel the sweetness involved in a Kajol-Shah Rukh tie-up! Yes, that’s true; Kajol reunites with SRK in this film as his leading lady! The global audience is waiting for another blockbuster from the duo!
