Well when Dish can provide the FIFA in HD why not Sundirect HD....
Even if it is an exclusive agreement, then too we are not living in a monopoly world, it is illegal for them to make it exclusive...
Who and all support me here, I really want to watch FIFA in HD...
And I think if we strongly push the message here the message will get to them...

SUN HD must telecast FIFA to survive in HD war.
Yes u can try on facebook,,we will all support u.
But it seems not possible..seems like DIsh Tv has got into an xclusive deal with ESPN to give thm FIFA WC HD feed.
It was kind of same as Sony did with Sun during IPL.

But at that time their was no other HD broadcaster so probably no company wanted it too...

But every DTH will want to have exclusive content to boost their sale.No body will not loose this opportunity to grab the new customers so ,I definitely believe SUN would have approached ESPN for the HD feed. But the result?! ESPN may / may not share the feed with SUN Direct that We have to wait and watch.

It will be very unfortunate if SUN HD does not telecast FIFA in HD. This would set a very bad precedent.
If people buy Dish HD now to watch FIFA and if Airtel gets the HD rights for the next Cricket world cup - does that mean HD viewers of Sun and Dish will not be able to watch world cup in HD simply
because Airtel has this rights? This is ridiculous to say the least. They could charge for that HD channel independently but should allow all DTH providers to telecast it.
No one would buy HD box just to watch one event! Hopefully the regulatory body will do something about it.
Even commercially, this would not make sense for ESPN. They could earn more by charging for this channel and sharing it with other DTH providers.
