Yes, now every company changing rules for demo STBs. U have to sale min 5 STB per month for using DISH TV Demo box, u need to sale 15 STBs per month for using TS Demo STB. Because in Demo STB u can enjoy all channels which r broadcasted by company.

In the subscriber point of view
1. Tatasky Rs.1499+(175*12m=)2100-RS.3599/-for one year
2. Dish Rs:1990- for 1 year
3. Sun Direct Rs.1999 for 1 year
How will you select? when so much variation in the price, If there is No Demo How ? can a subscriber experiences the Tata Sky quality?, the company invest so much in anchors but not reducing the package price , If they invest the same amount in reducing the price for the package ,then Tata Sky will be the no.1 company in the Dth field, this simple logic they don't understand , Instead of that ,they simply making new regulations

mabel its simple lines in retail "jo dikhta hai wo bikta hai" that means if costumer watchs add on tv he will definatly buy the product. so the thing you r sayng west of money its the sourse of income for companies
