According to Audience Measurement Analytics Ltd. (aMap) more than 4 million audiences watched the first episode of Bigg Boss 2. Colors stood at number 1 position between 10:00 pm to 11.45 pm yesterday with an average rating of 1.4% amongst the below mentioned General Entertainment Channels.
Bigg Boss Season 2’, the Indian version of the internationally acclaimed show – Big Brother, premiered on 17th August 2008 on Colors channel at 10.00pm.
The sensuous Shilpa Shetty, winner of last season’s Big Brother UK is the host for this show. There are 14 participants on the show including Monica Bedi, Zulfi Sayed, Raja Chaudhary, Rakhi Vijan, Sambhavna Seth, Rahul Mahajan, Ehsaan Quereshi, Payal Rohtagi, Sanjay Nirupam, Ashutosh Kaushik, Deboojeet Saha, Aleena Walia, Ketaki Dave and Jade Goody.
Bigg Boss Season 2’, the Indian version of ‘Big Brother’, comes with its unique twists this year that make it bigger and better – ‘newsmakers’ replace ‘celebrities’ in ‘BIG BOSS SEASON 2’. That apart, for the first time in the history of Indian television, a show is being launched that will be aired everyday. Further, there will be half an hour LIVE and unedited slot everyday starting second week that will air starting 12.30 a.m. Can it get more exciting? Yes, throw-in a couple of commoners with the ‘newsmakers’ and the equation becomes even more exciting.
