MUMBAI: Wire and Wireless India (WWIL) CEO Deepak Chandnani has quit the organisation. He is being replaced by Sudhir Agarwal.
Agarwal comes in from Haier Telecom, where he was working as president. He has earlier worked in various capacities with Motorola India, Bharat Telemedia Ventures and Philips.
Chandnani had joined WWIL in June 2007, replacing Jagjit Singh Kohli who was working as the MD of the company. Chandnani had come in from NCR India where he was managing director.
Chandnani has more than 27 years in the consumer non-durable, consumer banking, technology and B2B led industries, across leading organisations in the country.
A management graduate from IIM Ahmedabad, Chandnani started his career with Cheseborough Ponds & Hindustan Lever in sales and went on to become general manager marketing of Ponds India. He has held leadership roles in Citibank India and later became the first country manager for Yahoo India.
