'lnb in, port in the back of my stb model 1 has got loose and signal levels are fluctuating because of that? i have asked cc to replace my stb..please tell me whether to take the same stb model 1 or go for model 2 as replacement..i know the dealer in my area. he has given me the choice..pleaseeeeeeeee helpppppp.....model 1 or model 2 better in long term?? mr dish please help..
[i]model 2 is much more advanced than model 1 in terms of processor and memory designing... but it has more bugs than model 1 right now... so for the long term.. u shud consider model 2.. bcoz the bugs of both model 1 and model 2 will be rectified soon
whats the procedure of exchanging an stb mr ladykiller?? should we call up cc and ask them to sent their engineers or can we just exchange with the local dealers? how did u manage to xchange?

u can not ask the CC to change ur STB.. if ur stb is damaged than u shud go to the distributor itself... and ask him to pls change ur STB.. if ur distributor is kind enogh.. then he will do that.... i did that by talking for around 2 hours.... finally my distributor said "so u want dolby digital haan... tujhe daal ni khaani.. tune to paneer khana hai.. chal koi ni... karle change" whereas the lower employees were still not changing my STB.. but after he said again.. then they did it
