One thing I missed to mention is Big tv is MPEG4 and TS is MPEG2. Which means big tv can carry more channels of better quality than TS in same amount of bandwidth or space or same number of transponders

Go for it as you can see members are happy with BIG TV picture quality and sound system.

Also suggestig you book you connection from Reliance Web World. Smile

Hi!

I Knew that it is MPEG4 but that idiot shop owner confused me. However now I am sure that BIGTV is the best after you answered my questions. Should I take the STB2 which has card slot on the side incase if I get it.

I know that you said that STB1 is good as it has been tested but if the Reliance Web World only has STB2 then what. Should I take it.

Well STB 2 model have that advantage and if possible do inform them about same as you need that features.

Also CAM features will not work in any DTH and BIG TV software also not allowed you despite of you have CAM Slots.

I would suggest to use STB 1 Model as it is most tested STB model. You can have an option to change it in 1 year if you not happy or want to go with HDTV STB which are comming in Nov. 2008.

I am sure you will get stb 1 only. However if you are getting stb 2 only, take it. even if there some issues will come . It will not be forever. Like there was some issues with stb 1 at starting. Also then we will have a member who could be able to tell ts goods and bads of stb 2.
If you get choice of stb 1 and stb2 then take stb 1

I think Mr Dish has the soft copy of stb 2 picture . Stb 1 in on the website.
I have stb 2 pic in user manual only Smile
