As you are from South India you have two choice and I think you should go with Rs 2190 Pack which gives you all channels including Movies and Sports channels for 12 months free. Only Neo Sports will missing which you can take as Add-on Pack.

I am from Bangalore. Does anybody know how much will be the relocation charge as I am moving to my new house by next month end? Is it possible to buy it now and tell them to install and activate after 1 or 2 months from now? In that case, when will they activate the service ie., whether the 12 months of the south starter pack will start only after 1 month or will it start now (based on the bill date)? Also is there any limit for the cable length included in the installation cost (like 15mtrs for dish tv / sun direct)?

Well at the moment they have no policy of relocation. So when you are going to buy BIG TV, do inform them so from next month they will shift your connection to your new homes. They have no service charges like other DTH opertors charges.

I sell Big T.V & I had a similar customer with the same request., So we dialled the Customer care Number & spoke to them., The Customer care informed us tht only the first installation will be free & after that you will be charged for the installation at your new residence. however the agent was not sure of the installation charges to the new location, but said that it should be around 500.

My query is if i opt for Smart South 2190 i will get most the channels , but can we add extra how much ever Top-up packages we need ??? , and in this launch offer we pay 2190 and get 12 mnths free subscription so if we add Top-up packages do we need to pay them monthly or pay the amount for whole 12 mnths at a time ???

i am new to DTH services.but i am planning to take BIG Tv. with southmax 4990. i reside in hyderabad(andhra pradesh), and have a doubt whether i can subcribe the SM4990 or do i hav only smartsouth 1990 and smartsouth 2190 as choices. coz there are lot of main channels missing in SS2190 and SM4990 best suits me as i like to watch all the telugu hindi and eng. channels as well. money is not my prime concern as i wud like to hav all the channels that the bigtv is airing.
