Well those Pack is only for new connection only. Those are not a seperate Pack.

mr. dish what is difference between stb model 1 & model 2.

Well only difference is their look, rest of are same. But STB 1 is more stable version then 2 since it is tested for 8 months and easily take any updates but STB2 is tested for 2 months only and might face some problems.

Yes but what about new version which is comming, no one know. You know well with Dish TV and some STB model not able to download latest software so it is better for us to choose stable model.

yes.. i have got model one STB when first got signal my STB tuned just 96 channels.. then he pressed buttons on STB and it went to upgrade and then it tuned 186 channels

Yes.. but i heard this 96 channels comes to few old boxes.. then they do this process...... That was the reason this STB was kept idle when i was just getting 96 channels.........

oh forgot to tell you....... you will be shocked to know my signal strength and quality........... it is just 8% signal and 85% quality........... but still i am getting all channels....... last night when they chcked it was 100% but till now i did not connect their cable.. i have connected it to dishtv cable.. and it shows just one green box out of 10 and says Good
