I still dont believe that Dish TV's renewal system has improved. From last 2 months, it has started taking even more time for the package to start after its expiry. I was at a total loss, since both Dish TV and the dealer were blaming each other. Finally, I lodged a complaint with Consumer Forum and the value of 2 days was credited back to my account in terms of money. So Dish TV recharge system is still a big hell for me. So I have decided that, no more paying to dealers anymore. From now on I shall recharge only via ITZ Cash Cards or Credit Cards..!!

That might be case of negligence from Dealer.. in my case the channels were cutoff as i did not recharge.. but when i recharged the channels started to work in few mins.......... so i cant say it is that bad...... in some case it is really worse.. but sometimes it works good..

But the point for Dishtv is the STB should be ON on any pay channel for which you are going to renew......... whereas in TS it just needs to be in ON mode

Well in BIG TV no need to on! Sun DTH no information, TS need on while Dish TV needs to on any perticular channel

Well in case of TS, the chs start instantly, I have several friends using TS and they say that recharging a TS connection is just like making a 2 min Maggie Noddles...!!

Well I am not saying his post is abuse but this is an experince of Reliance Recharge system and it should be stay it on topic.

Is there any way of knowing whether recharge is done except calling the CC which takes 30 mins to connect and then they say their system is down.

I have tried it twice,though thanks dish for letting me know that it is done, but just in case somebody wants to know about this. Thats why I have just recharged with Rs 200 voucher and kept the Rs 500 voucher with me in case their is some problems now due to congestion
