Well I took BIG TV connection under Reliance PCO offer on last day of offer in Gujarat by paying 1399 Rs on 10th May 2008 and I got installation dates of 20 to 25th May but I found ISP number from PCO Dealer and guss what that ISP is my childhood friend and send installation person on 12th May just 1 days ahead of my b'day. He came after 4 PM and installed my connection around 5.30 PM. He tooks only 1 min to get activation my connection and my channels started that time. So overell it is good experince of installation and they did professionally with equipment kit which I never seen during Dish TV installation.

I have 3 months free offer and my connection run for 3 months and 22 days means 22 extra days and no charge for it. Also Movie channels work for 3 months as we had 2 months in offer. So they give me access more channels for more time. They have all channels which I want to see and I have seen good movies on Bindass Movies and World Movies which I want to see for 7 months. They cover most of channels and will add more channels in future so atleast we can say within next 3 months you have all channels which you want to see.

Now on quality things. During my use of BIG TV I found picture quality and voice quality excellent and have no signals drop in my use even in heavy rain too except two- three times where it down for 2-3 min. BIGTV worked on that and you will feel in next monsoon. I am glad to see they have no pixalation problems except on Bindass Movies and Music India sometimes but It can be ignored. They have uniform volume level except few channels liek MTV, Filmy. Overall it is 5 out 5 for me.

STB is really big issue in terms of channel changes as Dish Tv user enjoy, it is slower then Dish TV but Zapper is faster then it and you can use Zapper to change channels. I had no STB issue so I can say Model 1 is excellent for me. Although they need to fix the bugs in next versions.

As all of you know my recharge experince so I can say recharge is verh fast and you will get channels before you put you phone.

Now on Packages, well some people might found that it is higher but I can say BIG TV's packages is suit for any type of peopel in India. I recharge with 290 Rs as Neo Sports and Neo Cricket have no Cricket matches right now and also due to international Football they have no live matches for 20 Sept 2008. IN 290 Rs I am getting atleast 20-25 Extra channels then Dish Tv and I am enjoying all channels which I want to see and my family want to see.

Also on new connection it is best offer to take connection for 1 year offer as it is best option for anyone. Their service from ISP is excellent and they came on home after 2 months to check connection and cables means they care after 2 months too. So they take care your connection after some days to and it called Audit process where they come with one care and note down signal levels and feedback from us.

Now last Customer Care, If you have Installation problems then their Customer Care is too bad then others but if you have non installation problems then they will really great.



I will rate tham 9.2 out 10.

MR dish thanks for ur review. I brought Big tv mainly for this reason (I am glad to see they have no pixalation problems except on Bindass Movies and Music India sometimes but It can be ignored).Hope i can give my review on wednesday. If possible plz post some screens specially south channels.

Picture quality looks same on all channels.. Even the channel changing is so fast as if we are changing channels in TV.. The audio comes first then then Video

One more thing i forgot to mention is the EPG...... even for South channels the EPG is right on target with Movie names too........ which even Sundth is not able to provide..

Mj as u r frm south can u say how is the quality of Kalaignar tv,Isaiaruvi in bigtv compared to dishtv ...

Well you will see better quality of both channels although now I am getting Isaiaruvi only but it is good quality to see 11.30 PM songs.

Yes and EPG working on all channels including DD Channels with exact name.

Yes.. each channels looks to have great quality.. whether it is Sun or Star channels... .
