BIG Tv updates

Dish,

is it necessary that STB should be always on. The Guy who had come for installation said that it needs to on always for better picture quality. he said I can put off my TV but not STB.

What i have noticed is STB gets heated if it is on for a long time.

Also what happens in case we go out for a long term vacation andafter return if I switch on my STB will it function in the same way?

No need to on your STB. If you are not watching TV then you can off your STB. It will not effect anything.

Since last few days all cinema channels are blocked in my STB, is it a general case with all the old customers or, is it the case just with me.
I had taken the connection in PCO offer, and, using Big tv since July.

If you are the PCO offer customer , then dont worry all the movie channels are blocked for them as for testing purpose(or if the free period is over but you have purchased in July so I think your free period is still there).


I think its blocked for Mr Dish also as he has the connection in PCO offer

Well now its over for us as we know we had only 2 months free but we watched more then that.

small update which i got .. Bigtv is coming with around 20 to 25 more channels within next month which inlcudes south channels and also most of those will be included in basic pack

Well we can get idea that most of channels comming are Zee Pack 2 and B4U Channels. I am damn sure you will see TV5 Telegu as it is shown many times on Maa TV after 11 PM. I don't know about currunt but I seen it in past many time.

you are right.. TV5 is going to be added in base pack.
