Yes, even I feel the same. We might not be able to get all the chs at Rs.325. But you never know, they may do it to cut the competition. We may get all those chs for Rs.325 maybe for 1 yr and henceforth they would be put to packages. And I do agree with Mr.mj. They have got all the chs so I dont mind taking them even if they ask Rs.500 for it.

Well if we made simple calcuation it's cost are 700 Rs around as of 1st April and we know rates are changes then after. In this price I count this pacakges:

Star- 88 Rs
Zee- 190 Rs covering all channels
Sony-120 Rs
NDTV -30 Rs
BBC-5 Rs
UTV-50 Rs
INX- 20 Rs
ETV-75 Rs
SUN-92 Rs
Neo- 39 Rs
ESS:44 Rs
Maa-6 Rs

Total : 699 RS for CAS that means for DTH Max: 350 RS

So we can get idea it is possible to get all channels in 325 Rs since those brodcaster surly provide discounts.

350 is coming just for channel cost, what about the Taxes and so on? and also Bigtv should also need to get some benefit by providing the channels. They just cant give us the channels on that rate they get.

How will they give those channels at the rate specified? All channels will cost Rs.500 and I got this information from an insider.

Well one thing which we know that Brodcaster offers discounts on connection bases and also Reliance doesn't charge Carrige fees from them which other brodcaster is doing.

So you can imgine costing is 350 Rs and if we count older Taxes then it would be nearly 400 Rs around. So if they get discounts they can able to show channels within 325 Rs.

You can refer TRAI website you would found costing is 350 as at 50% to DTH from CAS prices. So it will never happen 500 Rs.
