Every body thought that once Competition comes like mobile phones even DTH will become cheaper and many have said that due to reliance mobile the mobile activities are cheap..........

My guess was correct...........DTH will not be cheap.......it can be entry only for the entry level.....and regarding the channel pricing and package pricing the cost will go up gradually.........the cell phone idustry is different and DTH industry is different........

I will say that companies might give the STB too at free of cost but the cost for the channel pricing and channel packages will not go down......unless govt. intervens for DTH............

I think due to dollar rate only they have revised the STB cost ...and offers ...
They will increase the price upto some extent only ....

The only solution is that Channel broadcasters should cut their rates to DTH customers............make some rules similar to that CAS it will be great and DTH market will grow superbly too if CAS rules are implemented for DTH too........

Tomorrow Star might increase its package to Rs. 75 who is going to bear it, its the customers. after 6 months ESS will increase the channel pack to Rs. 100 who will bear the cost its the customers.............
