Blessed!, A woman from Singapore wants to donate her eyes to Li’l Champ participants

It may look like the end of at least one road for the 13-year old Divakar in Li’l Champs. Even though he'll be eliminated this Friday from Zee's popular Sa Re Ga Ma Little Champs the visually challenged Divakar has caught the eyes and ears of fans all over the world. A 46-year old woman from Singapore named Jessie has offered to donate her eyes to Divakar.

"He's a cute boy with a lovely voice," wrote an emotional Jessie.

Says producer-director Gajendra Singh, "The offer to donate her eyes for Divakar isn't an isolated example of how far Divakar has captured people's hearts. We've had offers for his treatment from all over India, organizations want to fund his and his parents' tour to every possible corner of the country. Divakar is a national champ. It is sad that he will get eliminated this week. We feel sorry for the kid."

After hearing Divakar sing the theme song from Black last week, Sanjay Leela Bhansali expressed a desire to meet him. "The boy has outstanding talent. He's truly gifted and I wish him all the best," says Bhansali.
