Bloomberg Television on Dialog TV

Bloomberg Television, a world-reknown business channels, is now available on Dialog TV. The channel was introduced yesterday on CH 58.

At the moment some (or possibly most) customers are getting a E16 Scrambled message. There is talk that the channel will only be available on new Dialog TV Premium Customers (1949 package upwards) and not the old CBN Sat customers. However this is unlikely as, with the launch of SLT PEO TV, Dialog will not be foolish to scramble their own customers.

The introduction of this channel is a clear indication that Dialog is trying to keep its customers for leaving the platform. However the speed of introductions needs to be improved. Bloomberg has been launched on Dialog around a month after Kalaingar TV. And MPEG-4 has not been launched yet (as some customers still haven't got the new decoder). Dialog will have to speed up.

Well another good news for all the Dialog TV viewers. Atleast the management out there really tries hard to put up some premium national and international chs on the platform unlike the DTH operators of India. Anyways, enjoy the new ch...!

There are so many better channels than this channel and still not added on Dialog DTH.

Dialog must have some sort of plan....

Still I am not getting Bloomberg. Not that I need it really. It is a good channel for business people (to watch the economy crashing).

This is excellent news and it is leading business channel across the world.

They should introduct CNBC Asia as well. But first they should concentrate on channels that the majority want, mostly entertainment and sports.

For example Dialog should try to get EuroSport (like PEO TV) and the BBC channels. Also some channels which PEO does not have yet, like Universal Channel and Sci Fi Channel. Otherwise they will give SLT a clear path to success.
