Breaking News: 200 channels by June (NDTV Good times, Imagine, 9x, Bindass)

Hi Guys the below given which i had posted has been taken from other forum. In that forum forum one of my friend has conveyed this news and i thought of sharing it with you guys.

TODAY DISHTV CEO TOLD IN AN INTERVIEW ON ZEE BUISINESS CHANNEL ABOUT THEIR PERFORMANCE IN THIS QUARTER.
ACCORDING TO HIM , DISH TV MADE A LOSS OF APPROX 118 CRORES.

HE ALSO TOLD THAT THEY ARE ADDING A SEPARATE PACKAGE CALLED lifestyle package WHICH WILL HAVE ALL THE NEWLY LAUNCHED CHANNELS LIKE NDTV GOODTIMES AND IMAGINE, 9X, BINDASS,etc.

we will have to pay extra for this pack.

he alao said that the no of channels will go up more than 200 till june.

LETS HOPE FOR THE BEST.

Mr. Channel: I can confirm that the 200 Channels goal is to be reached by the end of June and NDTV Good times, Imagine, 9x, Bindass, B4u Music, B4u Movies, Indiavision etc. will be added by then.

Well Aju bhai thanks for information. I have seen Dish TV results but I can't confirm about Zee Business interview but I will make sure that I can say such things takes time to add on Dish TV as from my last information.

Dish Tv doesn't want to burden price hike on Dish tv customers.

So wonder how Dish TV manage to add such a channels.

Well I'm hoping that Dish TV will add the channels very soon.But I know it is next to impossible !

Hi Guys,

I called Dish TV Customer Care and asked them seriously about the addition of the new channels that have come up in the Television market. So here a list of information that I got from them about the different new channels.

(1) 9X and 9XM --- 9X is finally coming up very soon on the DishTV platform within the next 4-5 days. Its going to be added by the last week of January'08 or latest by the first week of February'08. 9XM has already been added on Ch No : 318 w.e.f 19th Jan'08.

(2) Bindass and Bindass Movies --- The status is same for these two channels from the UTV Group as well. They said that this channel is "likely" to be added in the last week of Jan'08 or by the first week of Feb'08. Though I doubt about this, but thats what I was told by the CC Agent.

(3) NDTV Imagine and NDTV Goodtimes --- Yes, NDTV Imagine is going to be added but not before atleast 10-12 days. There is a possiblity of this channel getting added in the first week of February'08 or if they hurry up, then maybe by the last week of January'08 as well. As far as NDTV Goodtimes is concerned, they had no idea regarding this channel getting added in the DishTV platform. But they did say that there is a scope of this channel getting added in the near future.

(4) Neo Sports and Neo Sports Plus --- As far as these two Sports channels are concerned, there are no symptoms of these channels being added not even after several months. The agent informed me that there was no updation regarding this two channels getting added as of now. But they might consider it in future.

Well I don't claim that the above information is 100% correct. I have provided the exact information that was given to me by the Customer Care Agent. You guys can call up the CC for further clarifications. As of now, lets keep our fingers crossed and hope that the above information turns out to be true. AMEN...!!

WELL THIS WAS THE COMMENT THAT I HAD POSTED ON TWO THREADS....BUT MANY MEMBERS SAY THAT THE NEWS IS FALSE AND DISHTV HAS NO PLANS AS OF NOW TO ADD ANY OF THE NEW CHANNELS....WELL THIS SEEMS TO BE QUITE A BIT OF SHOCK FOR ME....NOW AGAIN I SEE THAT THE DISH TV CEO HAS GIVEN AN OFFICIAL INTERVIEW IN ZEE BUSINESS THAT HE WILL BE ADDING THOSE NEW CHANNELS BUT THAT WOULD A PART OF A SEPERATE PACKAGE AND WE WILL HAVE TO PAY EXTRA FOR IT....WELL I DONT MIND PAYING EXTRA BUT ATLEAST THE NEW CHANNELS SHOULD BE ADDED.....!!!!!

CAN ANYONE PLEASE CONFIRM THE ACTUAL TRUE NEWS AND ENLIGHTEN US ON THIS FORUM PLEASSSSEEEEEEE........!!!!

Much of the comments posted in this forum are proving to be fake. It was said that 9X would be added to Dish TV within the last week of Jan or the first week of Feb, however all was a bluff. I called Dish TV CC and they have specified that they are in no mood of adding any quality channel (9X or NDTV imagine) in the near future. He brushed me aside when i said that Tatasky is adding all the channels. So please never believe when Dish TV CC says that they will add channels as right from the CC to the CEO are nothing more than bunch of filthy liars and believe me wen i say that the end of Dish TV is near.....
