C DRIVE PROBLEM

WHEN I OPEN MY C DRIVE ..I DOEST OPEN IT SHOWS A WINDOW WHICH SAYS FROM WHICH PROGRAM TO OPEN THERE WILL BE A LIST OF PROGRAMS

Spyware spread in your computer. Spyware has changed your windows registry. If you can run registry repair software, your problem may solve.

you have to format c drive and reinstall the window.

by formatting c drive through XP BOOTABLE cd

u could have removed the virus by deleting the autorun.inf files in the root of your hard disk partition. BTW, the virus was a normal usb spread virus...

it was all because of kaspersky antivirus.now i have installed mcafee antivirus which is better than kaspersky

Well at times, antiviruses do play a spoil-sport for your system. It happened with me too. Anyways, good to hear that your problem is solved.
