Cannot power on my Videocon D2H Satellite Box

Hello Friends

Actually before 2 days , it was raining normally. And my wife has switched on the TV and Set top box (D2H) , abruptly a short circuit happens with loud sound without any smell of burn or any light, due to high voltage. and my TV and STB both not started at that time .. at that time i was in office. Although i m using a stabilizer and connected my TV and STB to that.

But i think unfortunately stabilizer didn't worked that time. My stabilizer still working after that event but My TV and STB stopped working (power not shown). I had to spent about 600/- to repair the TV. And my STB is in warranty,

So my question is that, does customer care support will replace or repair my STB without any charges, as i have already spent money in my TV, and don't want to spent more.. that is enough for my budget, i can't bear more.. plz. suggest .. i m feeling very bad...

so i have contacted customer support. And waiting for their response ......

Hello Friends My distributor told me to bring the STB to their shop and he changed the fuse only, and my STB has started working .... without any cost.... i m happy now.... i don't care about warranty .. although the seal is not looking like it has opened by someone... Thanx to god and all of u ..

Yes, You please Take the Set top box to your dealer/Distributer and he will Replace that if you have the warranty.

I think they will replace it, UNless if that was caused by a lightning or something, What did you change in the tv, Mostly power supply transformer or STR ?

u better go to distributor & request them for spot replacement...bcoz sometimes it takes lot of time 2get replace ur STB.
