Dish Antenna Alignment procedure

RE: Dish Antenna Alignment procedure
I have an 90cm sth antenna but from my location the signal is very week 43% only for the 11172 transponder.

I have acquired an Prime Feed Focus Dish which measures 185cm" (approximately) I am not sure if the LNBF arms are the correct length or not.

My question(s):1- Will the mini-LNBF's that comes with the dth will work or not

2:-Where can I find a formula to calculate the focal point and lengths of the arms? There is a bump at the approximate center of the antenna which I assume is the focal point. There is no brand name on the unit but it is commercial quality with a very strong, galvanized bracket.

Hope someone can help!

Hi where are you located? Using bigger and bigger dish will not work-out. Please try rotating the LNB slowly, degree by degree till you get max signal strength.
Earlier in the forum you will find answers regarding the use of a software to determine the N-S , Azimuth and LNB rotation. Please key in your location Latitude and longitute and you will get the result.

RE: Dish Antenna Alignment procedure
Thanks Sumedha,
I checked the present alignment and it is found OK.
But yet to get all TPs clear.
only one TP 12534 is with zero channels. All the rest TPs are more than 70% strength.
Hence still no channel dish TV promo, MAA TV and Raj TV.
