@ Admin: One suggestion: I don't understand why everyone is coming up with a new thread on same topic and same news same issue (Neo sports). I think its better if we you merge all these threads to one thread and name that as Neo sports or whatever so for any info we don't have go for searching all 10-15 threads that have been created in last two days.

i have got the following reply from DishTV regarding NEO SPORTS

We would like to inform you that as per our records India Vs South Africa series will be telecast on Neo sport channel.

We do agree that Neo sports is not their on our platform and please allow us to explain our pint of view. We have gone through our rounds of negotiations with Neo Sports and the price that they are charging is on the hgher side for their 2 channels. We could have procured the same but the cost implications of it would have finally been borne by our subscribers such as yourself.
Hope you will consider our decision in your interest only.

We would also like to inform you that for rest of the channles, We are working on to bring National and International Channels on Dish TV platform to enhance your Entertainment Appetite as soon as they get through we will be announcing the same.

Assuring you the best of services. Looking forward to a long and healthy relationship.

This is an absolute bull-shit decision from the end of Dish TV not to add Neo Sports especially in such a situation when you can watch a match of "national importance" (said otherwise by I&B Ministry) exclusively on Neo Sports. I expected them to add the ch atleast now. The call center guys say something and the e-mail reply says something different. The CC guys say that talks are still on with Nimbus, whereas reply emails suggest that Dish TV has gone through the negotiation rounds and cannot add the ch because of high prices. Well if thats the case then how can TataSky, Sun Direct, Big TV(yet-to-be launched) and cable add it.

And then the story from Neo Sports is totally different. They say that they are not in talks with Dish TV at all. Infact they say that its Dish TV who is not ready to subscribe to the ch since they want Neo Sports to abide by their laid down conditions.

Now whom do we believe...? And are customers to be blamed for this indifference in opinions between ch broadcasters and DTH service providers...??

God...Its enough...! I am definately shifting to Big TV as soon as they launch...!

But Tatasky has Neo?

Tatasky has got the Neo channel but has made it a part of the sports gold package that is additionally charged to the subscribers and thus even on Tatasky most people view the current series on DD channel only.
