RE: For profit
Well the idea presented by you seems to be good. But people are mistaking one thing. Dialog TV is not that expensive since 1 Indian Rupee is equivalent to 2.8 Srilankan Rupee. So if Dialog TV costs Rs.12,500 in Sri Lanka, it comes to around Rs.4500 in India. Well I really wish that Dialog TV enters India since they have some good exclusive international chs and more to come, which India has never seen. But if they plan to enter India, then they must consider revising the pricing structure for Sri Lanka since if they come in India then they have to offer resonable rates. Lets see if Dialog TV plans to enter India...!
Some dreams do come true and one of my major dreams is to see most of the International chs in India . . . |

RE: For profit
But DIALOG TV's monthly rental is very high. For the full package you have to pay SL Rs 2,100/=. This is equal to Ind Rs.800/=.
How many channels for Rs.800/=? May be around 54. Out of which only 10 to 15 channels are good. |

RE: For profit
Yeah, thats why I said that they would have to consider to offer tailored package pricing in India. They wont be able to survive in India if they ask for Rs.800 per month. So if they offer those 54 chs even at Rs.300 in India, then they would have to revise the price structure in Sri Lanka as well to keep them happy.
