look Dialog Tv is much more expensive than Dish Tv,Tatasky, Sun Dth for Mpeg4 they have to increase more monthly most of the cannot effort even in Sri Lanka forget in India they ahve to change the satellite for all Middle east countries bcos Dialog Tv have international as well as Indian channel no dth can give and 100 percent they will take too much profit .

Well main reason behind is HBO Channels costing and all channels are their A-la-carte while same channels is cheaper in India because of packages.

I still can't quite understand your point because you haven't used any punctuation marks. But I agree with Dish. HBO channels in Asia are better and therefore more expensive. And remember HBO Asia does not get money from advertisements, so they have to replace that loss from somewhere. I believe TV without ads for a higher price is better than cheap TV filled with ads. |

Yes that is also true. But if a time-shift decoder is introduced (which is unlikely with Dialog) we can take our own breaks. That technology is available in USA, UK, Singapore. Usually we can use a short break to go grab a coffee. But some Indian channels give a long enough break to serve coffee to the entire neighbourhood. This is where Asian channels like Hallmark and AXN Asia beat Indian channels. I rarely watch full movies on Zee Studio because when a movie become of interest to me, they begin an ad break and during the break I forget why I'm interested in the film at all. |
