french channel TV 5 monde

I want to see only french channel TV 5 monde. can anybody help how I can watch it in delhi. As dish TV is charging too much they say buy the complete set, then choose one package and then this channel is extra for 150.-00 per month, this is not fair, buy package & pay for channel both

can anybody help how can i watcg this channel from other means....if any other DTH has this channel TV 5 or what dish & receiver can catch this channel.

Well for Dish TV, you need to choose at least one package and then go for add-on packs. But TV5 Monde is now available @ Rs.75 per month if you pay for 12 months at once and for Rs.300 if you pay for 3 months together. Still its not worth the ch, since its FTA. Anyways, I guess its available in Delhi through SITI cable. Anyways, here are some details of the ch :

Satellite : Asiasat 3S
Type : Numeric
Transponder : 10B
Frequency : 3760
Polarisation : Horizontal
Symbol rate : 26000
FEC : 7/8
SID : 12
V-PID : 1120
A-PID : 1121

thanks, but my question is how can I see it FTA thru my dish, what type of dish i require, c-band or ku band to see it free. what is the cost involved, for dish , receiver and other things, please as we are students of french and need this channel.

You are wrong. The FEC you have provided is wrong.

Oh I see. Well then you need this ch. By the way, I guess you need a bigger dish and also a C-band dish, though I am not quite sure about it, and of course an FTA STB which will cost you around Rs.800.

Well thats because you need to select the area to view the details :

First open this website :

http://www.tv5.org/TV5Site/reception/accueil.php

Now select "INDE" which means India from the drop down list under "Sélectionnez votre pays" and click OK.

And you would get the details...!!

You can recive this chaneel on Asia Sat 3 free of charge you need a 6feet C band dish and a DVB FTA reciver ! + many more good FTA chaneels like Rusia Today / Aljaseera/ Now/DW/TV Monde/Bloomberg/VOA/ FTV Hongkong "MID NIGHT HOT"

Aslo you can wacth XX movies on Yamal renTv 1and 2 / TV Komi after 12.30AM India Time on Friday/ Sat /Sun also "X " week days !
