DishTv Grace period policy has been revised,The Grace period chager of Rs.25 is applicable after full 7 days of grace period
and who have paid the grace period charge earlier before expiry of the grace period ,thair amount would be refounded to thair dish tv account

well they deducted 4 days for my renewal which i paid just the next day of the renewal date...... now lets see if they will extend the date... i renewed on 18 so the next renewal should be either 18 sept or 17 sept.. but it is showing 14 sept.. will wait and see what happens..

Well Mr.mj, lets inform you that first of all Dish TV has now started a 30-day billing system. So if you renewal date is 7th, its NOT that your next renewal date would be the 6th of the next month. It would be exactly on the 30th day. Even I faced this and lost 1 or 2 days for this. Secondly, they deduct 2 days and not 4 days, as a grace charge, since it happened with me also, since my dealer paid late. So maybe you missed 2 days as grace charge and 2 days more for their 30 day billing system. And yes, they WILL NOT extend your renewal date. They will credit the money back in your account in terms of money, as it happened with me.

By the way, I fought with Dish TV management for this 2 day deduction since I made the payment on time and it was the fault of the dealer who was late in paying. Dish TV wasn't listening, so I lodged a complaint in the Consumer Forum, and Dish TV had to credit the money back in my account for the 2 days which I lost because of the stupid dealer's fault. Guys, if you face any such problem, please approach Consumer Forum and show them what consumers can do. We cant be taken for granted. We are paying for the service and we dont deserve to be treated like nuts...!!

A good decison by Dish TV to their customers. Now I can make use of this as well.
