Yes TRAI had announced of this "Cell Phone No Portability" several months ago but it has been put to effect now. By the way, this system is already there in other countries and its good that it finally in India. This way, cell phone service providers will give better service or will be kicked out by the customers. Previously, customer didnot use to change provide because of the hassle of number change, but now its easier, thanks to TRAI. By the way, full talktime on recharge is something I am hearing new. Its another break-through move and I wonder, what about the post-paid customers...???, coz now the postpaid conn is proving to be more costly after this move specially. By the way, I will surely shift from Vodafone postpaid to Airtel prepaid, since my postpaid conn is amounting too costly for me...!!
