HATHWAY CAS

hello friends..  i am very new to this cable tv section .
i already hv dish tv and sun ddh..
first i prefer dish tv is  mainly for sports .. but now  i feel dish tv is not cost effective  .
i paid rs 350 for it .. really very high to me ..
i thought sun will be the alternate for dish tv..but its operation is very slow  and no body knows when sunddh is able to add  sports channel .

now our area cable operator moved to HATHWAY and offers its stb for rs 250..one time and ...afterwards rs 100 for FTA channels and rs 100  for any 20 selectable channels from its list..  ie min rs  200 per month ..

is any body able to send the channel list of HATHWAY CAS ..?pls.
also tell  us the quality  of the signals ...

i am in chennai .. what abt the quality ? is it comparable with dth quality.. ?
i tried already in hathway . com ..but no clear individual channel name..list..

rAsk your cable operator to provide you with a channel list. They will definitely provide you one. Quality is always better than DTH because cable TV carries a higher bandwidth. But your cable operator must use a professional quality cable and amplifiers at his cable network. Always remember that cable TV is cheaper than any DTH.

my questions are
1.whether the hathway cable channels are also available in hathway stb ..free.

2.My cable person ( who is also new for hathway - just he moved from scv ) told me that all the sun channels are pay channels in cas .is it true ?

3. is the condition for selecting the channels is flexible ..can we alter the selected channels in future ?

2. except Surya TV (Malayali), U2 (Kannada), Chutti (Tamil) and Kiran TV all the sun channels have become pay channels.
3. flexibility should be there as per TRAI norms on CAS.

other than pay channels ..

Yes. They are available for free. companies make promotional activities thru their channels.
