how is the link of sun direct dth during rains in south india

Can someone tell me how is the link of SUN DIRECT DTH during rains in South India.

It is a global phenomena.Even sun dth doesn't work in case of heavy rain or thick clouds.

Hi...Im using SUN from last 4 month...sofar i did nt face any problems during rains.

I am using it from its first day of launch.I didn't face any signal loss during rain.But , for a surprise some 3 months back i lost the signal for 1-2 mins, where there is no rain or big wind.

Well sometimes it happens when they are doing some work on transponders. You can check signals level that time so you will get idea.

No problem in Chennai, while raining. But sometime the brightness reduces and picture goes off for few seconds and then it comes back to normal. Did any of you get the smiler problem?

yesterday night there was heavy rain in hyderabad. During the rain, nearly 30 miniutes there is no video/audio signal. i saw "E48-NO Signal" message only.
