How to give back tatasky?

I have been using Tatasky since 2 years. But now I want to surrender my dish and set top box to tatasky as it is not providing some telugu satellite channels. Now there are many dth players in India and I want to go for sun direct dth. Please help us in this regard.

U cannot return the STB or Dish to TS and expect any refund from them.
But, U can try to sell to local dealers at a reasonable price.

Yeah! You are right, Mr.cjignesh. Mr.Sumanth, you will get around Rs.800 to Rs.1400 for the STB and dish if you sell it as it is 2 years old. Or you can find for a buyer in this or other forums.

I had a major problem with TATAsky guys and I switched to Sun Direct even without considering to close it

i also got big tv and i did not recharge my tata sky for more than 2 weeks and it is de activated now..
and i got call from tata regarding this once
but i did not mind
so my question is what will happen if i did not recharge it for more than 2 months??
will they take the dish from my house??

TATASky will never come to you to get the Dish Back for Two reasons

First one apparently that they will need to remove your name from the subscribers list.
This will affect their selling point of XXXXmillion customer base

Second, they do not have enough space to stock all the LNBs and dish taken back from the customers who were not so much jingallaaalaed about their service, which runs into another XXX million

Why will TATA SKY come to take your STB and dish? It's your own business. And Mr.simplymalayalee, You are correct.

I am not sure if you read the Terms and Conditions of TATASky before you bought it

The Dish, LNB and the DigiCard never belongs to you, its the property of TATASky and has to be returned in good and working condition while surrenderring the connection

Only the STB and its power supply belongs to you

HAPPY TATASKYING.... now you can record the TV programs too
