info about grace period

i am little confused about it......lets say my date for renewal is 15th august but i forget and pay on the 16th so i still have pay extra 25 rs or only if i renew after 7 days after the 15th?pls me know.thanks.

Ya even I am a bit confused regarding this. Lets see if any of the dealers can come forward and help us. We take the example given by Nayaina.

Renewal Dt : 15th August.

So within which date should we pay to avoid the late fine charge ? But people are saying that the late fine charge is for the grace period of 7 days. So does that mean that one should renew by the 15th to avoid the fine or is it applicable only after the 22nd (15th + 7 days) of Aug...???

Just to remove your confusion.......

  let's see if your renewal date id 15th Aug..... and you forgot and recharge on 16th Aug then you have to pay Rs.25 as grace charges. but if you renew say for 6 months or so then you GRACE charges will be waived off. to be precise on recharge of Maxi (2 month or Freedom for 3 months or more).

So even if you late by 1 day or by one month its same you have to pay grace amount.

You have to pay for subscription on or before 15th Aug.or your renewal date

well. Today i did one renewal which was already deactive and there is no extra charge for that.... i just paid it normally.. lets see what happens..

and one more thing.. we cant Take Alacarte package along with Dish Mini.. So minimum recharge amoutn for Dishtv is 100rs.. if we need pay channels .

What is the Grace charge for?
Even post non-payment, as a special gesture the subscriber is given 7days of additional viewing of a few channels on a lower package. This charge is in lieu of 7 days grace period.
How can you waive-off these charges?
The Grace charge can be waived-off on making a lump sum payment of:
· Freedom and Mini subscriber to pay Rs.300
· Freedom Plus, Welcome & Maxi subscriber to pay Rs.600
· In case of a multi-tv connection, a subscriber must pay additional Rs.300 for each child connection to enjoy the waiver. (The condition that the parent must be active to enjoy the Child stays as is.)

It means u hv to pay late payment charges if you renew after grace period only for one month. But if u r renew for for more than 3 months for FREEDOM PACK and 2 months for Maxi pack then no need to pay late payment charge.

there is no extra link or option for late payment in dealers Id, u hv to edit amount for package and late payment charge Rs.25, otherwise renewal date will be prepone as per package rate.

Where can you pay 2 months maxi packages....... Dishtv is just asking us to depoit an amount of 600rs to waive the fine off.. simple as that..

as per new billing system Dish tv now charging per day basis. u can pay 2 month renewal charges from renewal ling. just edit amounth on second page of renewal link, after package selection. SIMPLE

haha.. you can enter 600rs in the amount and pay but who is to be blamed if after one month of maxi package then during next date Dishtv will put you in freedom package for 3 months.. then again you will have to call the sleepy CC and bark at them..

Firstly Dishtv's normal renewal is messed up with lot of problems.. now with this it will create lot of confusions... right now many people are facing channels blackout problems with No Access messages even in Maxi package..
few customer pay for Maxi one month 300rs and dishtv activates him freedom package for 3 months for 100rs each... and when a customer calls they tell him to wait on a particular channels from 4 to 24hrs.. they might be thinking if they had 25th hour also in a day that would have been good..
