Insat 4B -Any Pointers to recieve this.........

i saw in Dishtrackingcom that for Transponders @ Insat 4B 93.5° East
all the Sun Network channels ae free..........is it correct and if so what should i do to recieve the same.........I have a Coship Dish and a DVB stb.........

The Sun Network channels on INSAT 4B are on the C-band and barring 3-4 channels, they are encrypted. You can sure view the unencrypted ones with your Coship DVB-S STB and a suitable C-band LNB. There are some channels that use DVB-S2 which you will not be able to watch with your STB.

And if you want to watch the encrypted channels, you will need to use a Irdeto CI CAM and smart card from the Sun Network in an available CI slot.

Thanks for the info mrasool, but i had another question will the C band Transponder be able to recieve all the channels that i view now?

You are not Buying C Band Transponder, But C Band Dish.
Of Course you watch Both The C and Ku Band Through the Diseque Switch.
