installation is weak point of BIG TV

Well like all things in life have their pros and cons. after hearing so much praise from all members of SOD I also decided to go in for big TV. Well I purchased it on 3 of Sep and till date no installation is done forget about the call to fix an appointment.

Now after 30 calls to CC and several complains I can safely say that however big a corporate House might be they can not guarantee a pool proof arrangement. Well I hope before they were scheduled to lunch they would have thought of demand it would be for BIG TV and would have arranged engineers for installation accordingly.

Well they have miserably failed on installation part.

It’s not only me they are so many of my relatives and friends in different parts of the country and everybody has same problem???????????

Just think a person like me who stays in metropolitan city like Secunderabad has been waiting for 9 days and still counting for installation .I wonder what is the position of people in smaller towns.

Well BIG TV's installation probems occurs in South Indian states except no case so far from Kerala, If we would see all problems you heard three city names H'bad, B'lore and Chennai. They have huge demand of new connection as MJ mention that everyday more then 100 connection taken fron on shop while installation is happen less then this speed. Addition team and ISP sent their and now normal time is likely be 7 days for South India.

Rest of India installation happens within 24 hours to 48 hours max and there is no issue in rest of India so far.

I also find some key reason behind this:

- Less Installation team then connection and one team only do 4 to 7 installation per day while in other parts team doing 13 to 15 installation per day,
- Most of states have Power Cut problems which make process dealy

See the issue is simple, if they can’t do the installation on time they should inform the customer that the installation will be done on such and such date .whether the date is today or might be even after 15 days or so. The customer will be prepared mentally and he will not spend frustrating days waiting for installation.

yes i too agree with the problem it doesnt mind even if they do it after 15 to 20 days but the exact date should be given...where as in south india the CC executive give u promises tht a call will be made to u in 2 hrs these types of promises raises our hopes of installations and whn they are not done we get frustrated.....

Yes I fully agree with you and we know as we PCO offer users also give 15 days for installation. If they tell people that it will takes 7 days then people will not be angry.

But in North Side..The installation is done in 24 hours...

well till date no instalation done.spoke to cc they said appointed new engineers specially for hyd and chennai because of huge demand.

I'm sure they'd definitely work on polishing this aspect of their service. I have full faith in Big TV.

Yes, I guess now the installation issues would be reduced to some extent. After all, even they did not expect such hug sales in such a short span of time..!! Keep it up, Big TV...!!
