This is big problem when company using Toll Free numbers even other DTH's phone have same problems.

You can use that Mumbai number since it is Local for you.

Any updates on your installation?
Nothing seems to bhe working at my end. :-(

This seems to be the worst after sales service I have ever come across.

The Web World staff here in Mysore are polite. They were asked to start the sales but additional manpower to do the installations did not turn up. They have called and e-mailed to provide additional installation team.

Currently in Mysore a team of 15 is doing the installations and there are 300 connections to be done before mine. Heavy rains are also slowing their work. Looks like I'll have to wait for a long time.

However my friends in Bangalore are getting their installations completed within a day!

Well that is a big issue since only 15 teams their. Don't forgot that whole process tooks upto 3 hours. As you told rain problem, I think it will be big issue for installtion.

If you not got installation in next 24 hours then let me know with your Smart Card by PM and I will blast the CC.

Well Dish TV charges 200 RS whil BIG TV not charge anything in South.
Also Dish tv gives only 6 Mt Cable rest of length charged and also service charge is Rs 150/ visit which BIG TV not charging anything.Big Grin

buddy ur distributor is brud dish tv gives 12m wire(cable) ur distributor makes a hole by giving 6m. and its instalation comes will 1y service warranty including fiiting so no charges for allignment for one year.

Well make things clear before you post. I have still that STB box where then mention 6M standar cable and there is only 2 months warranty one installation.

I have taken BIG TV from Reliance web world on wednesday evening at Airport Road, Bangalore. I had called customer care on Thursday morning. They told that you will get a call within 4 hrs and your installation will be done .
But I didnt get any call from them. Today I called them in the morning they asked my work order number and told that you will get a call within 2 hours.

Till now I didnt get any call.

I just want to ask How many days it takes to get the installation done.

Is the problem only in Bangalore or in all the places.

Any one faced the same problem.

I had bought it on Tuesday afternoon in B'lore, and still waiting into my 4th day. Daily I am calling them 2-3 times, everytime they say that I will get a call in 2 hrs. But no calls yet. There seems to be absolutely no accountability and responsibility from their side. I have stopped calling them.

I am totally fed up with this. To hell with BIG TV DTH.

Well so far it is issue in Bangalore itself. Even now customer care accept that they are short in men power.Sad

In my area installation done in 24 hours, although Company give 1 to 5 days max for installation. Even we PCO user had installation on 4th day.

So give sometimes, I also got information from someone that you guys have rain at the moments. It makes dealy.

Finally, the installation team came and completed the installation. It has been exactly 48 hours since I purchased and requested for installation. However, I do not get any channels. According to the installation team, it will take some time for activation.

Yes it depends on your local person. I guess they collected your documents and now will activate for you once they send it to ISP and main centers. So allow 10-12 hours for that.Smile
