Is it right time to switch from (Stable) Tatasky to Reliance BigTV?

Hello Folks

I am planning to switch from Tatasky to BigTV as it's upfront cost is very reasonable and contains lot of channels.

I am a regular of SOD forum.
So i want to make an informed decision.

Is the package applying issues get sorted out and won't new users encounter this kind of problems?
Is STB Hanging, Blue Screen Appearing, freezing are all user induced issues?
Will Volume control via STB's remote make into forthcoming firmware update?
I heard that SS Music and Doordhashan Podhigai channels where suddenly removed from BigTV, what assurance we as a consumer has for our favorite channels existence in the one year free option.
Will all the STB related issue sorted out in forthcoming firmware update?
Should signal strength and quality be 100% for clear-cut viewing experience?
Will there be any exiting offers for New Year so that i should wait?

Frankly speaking, having to juggle with two remotes is a major draw-back for me as nowadays Airtel DTH is even providing a remote that control TV Power On/Off.

I realized i have asked too much of questions, but i am switching from a Stable (Bugs-free, Trouble-free) Service provider to a new provider that is not too good in providing positive experience.

By saying Tatasky as Bugs-free Trouble-free. i am not saying that i am fully satisfied with it's service.

I have following issues in it.

Many of the desired channels are not available.
Favorites can only store 20 channels.
Mosiac view is not available.
No Component out and Digital Audio out.(that is one of the main reason i am excluding Airtel Digital TV)
Costly.

we can already control volume from the STB remote...
and about the channels... according to TRAI... no one can remove any channel without stating it 6 months before... so no worries.... and also.. big tv is going to add some more channels.. so thats great too... but the STB is really really bad...
my advice will be to wait for some time.. till the new firmware comes...
