I have tested both Safari and IE side by side to download a file, and Safari took just 5 secs to download a 2 MB file whereas IE took about 1.5 Mins to download the same 2MB file. I haven't tried Mozilla Firefox yet but I have heard that Firefox is very good. I shall definately try it soon...!!

Rohit If you Using Safari in Mackintosh ? or using its windows version.
Safari is a Good browser, You try Firefox, Definitely You Like Firefox.

One More Tip : Most of the virus attacks are aiming Internet Explorer, that means if you are not using IE, You can Minimize the Virus Attacks.

Well I dont have a Machintosh system , but I am longing to buy such system sooner or later. They are much better than Windows or Linux. But its too costly. But one day, I will definately buy it.

By the way, I am using the Safari windows version in my Windows system. The best part of Safari is that it gives good speeds even for dial-up connections. I myself have used it with dial-up, so trust me. Right now, I am using it with a BSNL Broadband 2MBPS conn and believe me, its absolutely magic with Safari. The speed is something that one can expect in dreams. But yes, I shall try firefox soon. And yes, IE is pathetic. Most virus attacks happen with IE. But I have Windows Defender so I need not worry. By the way, what sort of system do you have..? And whats your internet connection...??

My Broadband connection is Bsnl 2MBPS (but it is not a truth ,bsnl is cheating) and i am using Firefox and Safari browser and i dont use a firewall or anti-virus in my system..

What makes you feel that they are cheating...?? I feel that till now only BSNL is giving such a high speed. Other private telecome companies are not giving more than 384 kbps I guess..!!

Well if they give 2 mbps i will be happy but they are not giving 2 mbps . In morning 2 to 8pm free time , the speed is only 512 kbps ,Airtel also giving 2mbps at 500rs per month.

Well I am using Opera 9.52 and test suggested that Opera is faster browser on the earth. I choose it because of few good features likes

- Speed is best
- Also very fast to load page and when you press back button page will not load again like IE and FF.
- Block those sites automatically who have virus,trozons and Spyware.
- Opera not load any hidden scripts and installtion which now browser can stop.

Rohit, i know Safari is Faster. Mackintosh is Used in Apple Computers Cost Starting from 70,000.

Well Apple computer prices have come down. Mac Books now cost from Rs.56,000 only...!!
