just seen that ts+ will now hav 130 hours of recording.
How is it possible.
Will the quality of video be affected.
Has mobile recording started.

Could be that new STBs, from now onwards offer 130 GB. By the way there is also internet recording, via tatasky.com other than Mobile Recording.

As the quilaty of videos is same becouse of MPEG4....there may be increase in memory of STB...

But I think it's MPEG-2 for TS.

i just called tata sky customer care. the person said this 130 hrs recording has been activated for ALL tata sky subscribers, both old and new. this has been done by a recent software upgrade, so no change in hardware is needed.

mobile recording to be launched in 1-2 days.

and another feature has been added. you can now call the customer care of tata sky and request them to send a person to recharge your account completely free of cost (i mean the service charge is free, not the package charge Tongue

). this can come in very handy if one cant get hold of recharge coupons.

dunno was watching old programs, still same quality. i think they have added showcase vod space to the 90 hrs. hence 130 hrs.

Even if they add vod it will be in same hard disk na it is not live tv.

This is only for competition with AIRTEL. They increased the rec time, but picture quality is not good, this is mpeg 2.
