Only Few channels are available after threee days of installation

Dear Dish,
I bought BIG TV on August 29 ,2008 and got it installed after hectic follow up with customer care . The installation was done on 07th September and it was working fine . But from 10th September onwards i m able to view only few channels like
Jaya Tv, Kaligar TV / Asianet /Sun music / Isai aruvi only
All other channels are blank blue screen . EveN not able to view Gyan dharshsn or Big TV channels
Tried Factory set up / Mannual Scanning also .
Complained the customer care . But they are saying they will come and rectify it .
pls give me some guidance what might be the problem ?

Well if you not getting Please Subscribe message then you might have problems in connection. Check all cable are joint proper. Also do manual updates then scan channels.

Hi Nikhil,

I purchased my big tv on 23 sep. and altlast they installed on oct 1st after a very big followup with customer care.

After 10 days, I am not able to watch any channel. simply i am seeing blank screen. I raised a complaint with customer care. at that time they said with in 2 days we are going to resolve the issue. but nothing happens upto now. I am not getting what to do with this BIG TV service.

Well if you are not getting any error message then it could be two reasons.

1. Either your Cabling is lose anywhere, so just check it yourself.
2. Or your LNB have problems not working.

If you have number of the person who installed your connection, call him to check it or go to Web World and told them to sent ISP guy to check.

Hi,After all Reliance is Reliance. They will show their colours within no time. I have installed Big TV on 2nd of September and was getting 154 channels. From last Monday (8th September) onwards some channels vanished one by one. Now I am not getting 52 channels. After calling their customer number umpteen times and complained, yesterday they gave me a complaint number. Since we all know about these Reliance people, fortunately I havent disconnected my old DISH TV and I am watching Asianet, Kairaly etc on it!!!! Friends, what you say about Reliance Anil Ambani?

check the months and date before you post.

You just contacted that person who installed your dish as your STB should show 186 TV Channels means your alignment is not proper now.
