Pia quits Kasamh Se

Roshni Chopra aka Pia of Kasamh Se has finally said goodbye to the show. The actress says that she is simply bored with the saas-bahu drama, and wants to do something different.

A close friend of Roshni, says, “Roshni acknowledges that Kasamh Se made her what she is today. She did not want to ditch Balaji and told them well in advance that she would be leaving soon. Accordingly, her character was allowed to slowly fade away so that viewers don't get a shock. She discussed it with Ekta Kapoor in detail.”When contacted, Roshni said, diplomatically, “I have taken a break from Kasamh Se. I have been doing Kasamh Se for the last two years and I won't deny that I owe a lot to the show. But now I want to do something new in life,” she said.

What did Ekta have to say about her decision to quit? “I am very busy with a lot of projects right now. I had a long chat with Ekta over this issue, and she did not have any problem,” she replied. Roshni is busy doing riyaaz these days to prepare for Jjhoom India, a show that she is evidently looking forward to. She says, “I have been practising singing all the time.” Needless to say, Roshni's exit is a big blow to Kasamh Se, especially since lead actress Prachi is also quite busy with Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
