Picture quality

I had bought BIG TV and got it installed.

The only problem is that the picure quality looks very dim.

I had checked all the cables, removed them and re conencted.

Signal strength is showing as good.

But the picture is dim. ANy one is having the same problem. What should I do. Please suggest

If the picture is Dim kindly adjust brightness, sharpness , colour contrast from ur Tv Remote....

i have the big tv set top box .
the picture is ok
the sound is not good enough comparing to cable tv.
some of the channels are missing in the list
i think they will launch soon.

Congrats for getting Big TV. Picture and sound quality is the best when to comes to Big TV..!! By the way, since you say that the sound quality is not good, check by increasing the volume from both the remote and the STB. Also is your TV new or old...??

As for the missing chs, they are expected to be added soon...!!

Well if you talk about Music India and Bindass Movies then I agree that picture is dim but if you found it on other channels then you need to change your TV setting.

If you don't have technical information then not misguide someone. Picture quality never depends on STB. You will get same picture quality on 100 Rs STB and 1,00,000 STB.

Also sometimes TV's setting also make picture dull, normally most of TV's guide have shown standard valus of color,brightness and contrast vales as you are Onida Dealer you know it well.

Yes.. this is the worst problem which occurs sometimes... Today i too faced it in evening.. i waited for few mins to change to other channels but the scroll was so slow that i could not change to the very next channel.. waited and waited again.. but then switched it off and ON and back it was normal and the switchoff from remote took nearly 5 seconds .. i pressed power button and then kept remote beside and i was able to watch teh channel for another 4 secs and then it switched off..... These are the only few bugs which are there.......... The STB hangs like how a PC hangs which there is too much memory usage / performance usage.. and we use End task option in system but cant use anything in STB other than to switch it off........

I hope Bigtv rectify this by next software upgrade ..

picture quwlity= stb takes signals from lnb these signal are shown on screen and the signals which are given by stb to tv are not that which are shown.... so it depends on qwality of stb...

price= for ur reminder that ts stb are maid by thomson(philips) the picture qwality of ts is great becuse its matarial used in it. philips use dynamic signal booster in its products so the output signals of ts are also good.

onida=im not dealer of onida... or i should say im not intrested in dealership im a born distributor.... im distributor of onida never matters for me what is in side tat box its a onida product comes with mrp and d.p. thats it.
