Pix to air soccer match on 10 August

MUMBAI: English movie channel Pix is set to air soccer match, Manchester United versus Portsmouth, on 10 August 2008 at 7:15 pm.

The match will be played at Wembley Stadium, London for the Footbal Association Community Shield.

Pix business head Sunder Aaron said, "All of us at Pix are big football fans and are excited to showcase the first match of the English Premier Season on our channel. It's an 'Action Packed August' on Pix and we are adding more power to the mix by airing this match between two extremely popular rivals, Manchester United and Portsmouth."

Manchester United will take on Portsmouth at Wembley, 100 years after the first Shield match. The Football Association Community Shield (formerly and colloquially known as the Charity Shield) is an English association football trophy contested in an annual match between the champions of the Football Association Premier League and the winners of the Football Association Cup.

Yes! I was worried about this match since I am Manchester United fan but my good luck I seen the promo at 5.30 PM. I was hopeless since ESS doen't shows the match but finally I seen it and we won it.
