Poor Quality signal of channels of Zee Network

"ALL CHANNELS IN DVD QUALITY PICTURE AND CD QUALITY SOUND"
The claim by TATA SKY advertisement is false and misleading. I am subcriber of Tata Sky since 18/03/2007 and have observed that Zee network channels all 28(now 15) are no where near to DVD quality. I request all TATA SKY subscribers to flood their respective customer care centres with this complaint after closing comparing the quality with star one or sahara one or star plus etc. I am complaining wih them since 18/03/2007 and Their engineers in principle agrees that quality of the zee network channels is poor but not ready to accept on paper, Let us flood customer care centres with complaint(only if u agree with me & if u see quality in 29 inch tv it will be very clear that there is huge difference). Earlier Dish TV was also giving really bad quality of all Star Channels.. But repeated complaints have ensured that Star channel quality has improved a lot.. because they realised it was doing them no good.. people still watched Star Channels more than they watched Zee Channels...

Actually this is a way that Dish TV and Tata Sky try to make sure that people don't watch the channel of their rival DTH operator. But keep complaining.. and even threaten to discontinue with their service. Only then they will do something about it.

There seems to be some improvement in the quality of HBO after the Zee channels are dropped. CNN (international) seems to be the worst of the lot, and it is discouraging to view that channel on Tata Sky, due to its poor quality. Hope Tata Sky will take some steps towards ensuring minimum quality across all the channels.

Quality has improved for only some of the channels. It is very disturbing to see some channels in pathetic quality (CNN, HBO, Zee etc.). Given their tall claims & association with worldclass brand, they seriously needs to take some action. When I asked their helpline, they told that they are telecasting these channels it as they receive them. However, I think they are compressing these signals more as one can notice the stretching in some of the these channels while switching.

TATA SKY PEOPLE ARE NOT IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF ZEE NEWORK CHANNELS . RATHER ADMITS IT THAT THE QUALITY IS POOR BUT PUT THIS BLAME OF ZEE NETWORK . THEY SAY THAT ZEE TV PEOPLE ARE PROVIDING THEM SIGNALS OF POOR QUALITY. AS FAR AS I THINK THEY ARE HIDING THEIR FAULT AND "CHEATING" DONE TO THEIR SUBSCRIBERS BY SAYING " ALL CHANNELS OF DVD QUALITY", WHAT U ALL SAY? PLS REPLY

Good News for TSky subscribers. Recently TSky has improved the quality of Zee Channels. Almost all channels now are now in good quality.

Same on Dish TV. All star channels has improved most but not upto mark. Its trake some time for us.

TATA SKY PEOPLE HAS ADMITTED THAT THEY ARE BEAMING POOR QUALITY OF ZEE NETWORK CHANNELS. THEY HAVE REFUNDED THE AMOUNT TOO JUST TO SAVE THEM. BUT I AM GOING TO MEDIA FOR THEIR ILLEGAL TRADE PRACTICE BY ADVT."ALL CHANNELS OF DVD QUALITY" WHICH IS MISLEADING. ANY BODY WANT TO JOIN ME IN THAT ?
