PRASAR BHARATHI SHOULD BE AUTONOMUS

What is happening with crude the same is happening with prasar bharathi,unless the political influence is removed we cannot expect quick decision making and information.Personally i feel till elections there is no scope of any developments of new channels,this is the way they have managed in the past and the same will continue.PB officials also got used it and they also find difficult to change and compete.

PB should be surely made by Autonomous, then it will work on business model (like BSNL)

now a days tv channels are running in profitable mode......... but doordarshan channels can't profitable one...then wht is the use of i&b ministry and i&b minister ... our politician's can't allot proper money and sufficient workers to doordarshan channels......insteed for this they started their own or (party) channels and running more profitable. .if goverment undertake (like bsnl and railways) the prasar bharati(doordarshan )channels ,then only prasar bharati will improve.....for financial help of doordarshan, make broad cast tax for tv's with size above 25" inch and lcd tv's .this cannot affect poor people.............otherwise privatise doordarshan (prasar bharati)..........
