Question Rains and no signal
Is there any way to get signal when it is raining?
Is it right to cover the LNB receiver by a plastic bag?

RE: Rains and no signal
At the time of rains signal goes down very frequently in case of DISH TV also.
In case of TATA SKY signals seldom go down in rains.
In case of RELIANCE BIG TV signals may not go down during rains as it is using mpeg4 technology. Let us see what happens after the commercial launch of RELIANCE BIG TV DTH.

Relative to most indian teritory the signals from NSS6 (93 E) pass through a larger path through rain cloud than the signals of Tata Sky (satelite at 74 E) hence signal loss is greater for dish TV than Tata sky Tv during rains.
