Reliance pkgs launched: Sun-DTH to benefit

Though Reliance created special packages for south, they are not good enough to attact southern customers towards reliance. I am sure Sun-DTH is going to get more and more customers in the near future i.e. immediately after this Reliance-launch... !!




already sundirect also giving importance to north as well currently they having 20+ hindi channels(ahead of tatasky) still some more channels to be added....still sundirect is better b'cos starting basic pack price RS 75 for 100 + channels but in big tv 0nly 44 channels for rs 100 after 1 year

Well Reliance have all Hindi Channels , Movie channels and have Sports channels to in that offer which Sun Direct+ not have at the moment.

Sun DTH is now have to expand their channel capacity and provide better packages in terms of non South Indian channels.

Sun Direct is still keeping quiet after Big TV launch. Dish TV is doing some activity in a TP and Tata Sky is mailing me everyday to buy it.

They have to pull up their socks as early as possible otherwise they will be in trouble.

Yes good Sun Direct+ is very quite right now and they have big problems because they have no partners outside south India and they need to set up everything their own.

I agree with you that the basic price of sundth is less.. but if you look at reliance they offer channels for 175rs which includes tensports, hbo, star movies, pix, ngc, ap, discovery, cartoon and so on.. if you need these channels in sundth you will have to pay above 200rs

75 + 20 tensports + 40 HBO,SM,NGC + 55 Cartoon channels.

190rs plus taxes 12.3% .... also sundth does not have Sony channels like pix, AP, Discovery etc... it only has SetMax.

Ok so coming back to point...Sun Direct is the best option is anyone is looking for only South chs. However, if the person wants other popular chs along with South chs, then he or she must choose Dish TV or Big TV depending upon his or her budget...!!

big tv costs 175+30=205.......morever big tv might charge tax on recharge coupen rater than on packages ......i may b wrong

Both are Good...

Big TV is GooD for those love to have Sports , Movies & News - Mainly the people in Cities and Urban

Sun Direct is GooD for those people love local channels (Regional Channels) - Rural Area and Middle Class People.

As far as i know Sun Direct's customer base is mainly from rural and middle class.So ,though they are not going to get benefited from reliance , sun is not going to loose much.

Did you guys noticed this ? more Big TV ads are on Suriyan FM as well in SUN TV?! any spl reason?!
