S Video to Serial port (LCD Monitor)

Guys,

Tata Sky has a S-Video out connector. By using a S-Video to serial port connector, can we connect a LCD Monitor to Tata SKy + STB directly ?

Need to check if such converter device available, and at reasonable cost.

Anybody used such device?

why dont u use the component out? i presume most LCDs have a component in port. s video converter will be costly, if at all available.

I have got a query.........i have connected my TS+ svideo output to my TV s video input......but only the picture is coming in that mode.......but when i plug the audio out wire to the below given s video component wire.......the sound is coming.......my query is that does the S Video wire in TS+ is only for Video or for both audio & video output........

I guess, he means the LCD monitor we use with Desktop Computes. I don't think they have 'Component In' port
